How Mist Pump'S Atomization Works

Update:03 Jul 2020

Mist Pump is the main accessory product for cosmetic packaging containers and one of the content dispensers. It uses the principle of atmospheric balance to eject the liquid in the bottle by pressing. The high-speed liquid will also drive the gas flow near the nozzle port. , So that the velocity of the gas near the nozzle orifice becomes larger and the pressure becomes smaller, forming a partial negative pressure area.

The working principle of Mist Pump's atomization:

Since the nozzle opening is very small, if the pressure is smooth, when the liquid flows out of the small hole, the liquid flow rate is very large, that is, the air at this time has a large flow rate relative to the liquid, which is equivalent to the problem of high-speed airflow impacting the water droplets.

Therefore, the subsequent analysis of the atomization principle is exactly the same as the ball pressure nozzle. The air impacts the large water droplets into small water droplets, and refines the water droplets step by step. At the same time, the high-speed flowing liquid will also drive the gas flow near the nozzle orifice, so that the velocity of the gas near the nozzle orifice becomes larger, the pressure becomes smaller, and a local negative pressure area is formed. Therefore, the surrounding air is incorporated into the liquid to form a gas-liquid mixture, and the liquid is atomized.
